After Remy - and Cain - had died, all Rogue could think to do was run away. Away from Vegas, away from the X-Men, away from whatever lingered of the Weapon X program, and away from the memories and pain. The message about Preya couldn't have come at a better time, and it didn't take long after meeting the leaders for her to decide to stick to the thievery she'd been doing - particularly now that she had Gambit in her head. Being there at the end with him had given her his memories and his powers the same way it had given her Cain's memories, but Remy's were stronger, and not entirely unwelcome. Occasionally, his Cajun brogue slipped into her own speech, but she generally reigned it in. She manage to reign in his powers, too, having practiced them at night with only his voice to guide her. Eventually, she knew he and they would fade, but for now? She could do what he did.
Despite that fact, she still covered herself up. Here in Preya, her street clothes consisted of pants and long sleeved shirts. When she went to clubs, be it to meet with a prospective boss, Moriarty, hit a target, or just have fun, she lied about her age as she had for some time now, and she wore long skirts, tall boots, and gloves that reached past her elbows. The only bit of skin besides her face that showed was an inch between her gloves and the sleeves of her dresses. Her dark hair showed off her signature white streak typically, and she tended to wear it long as well.
At the moment, she was at Decadence, having decided to finally check it out. She had spotted the private rooms and made a mental note to tell Moriarty about them, because at the moment it seemed that this might make a good base of operations for her...or a place she could meet clients and discuss their needs, at least. She sat at the bar, having strategically picked a quiet spot that didn't have anyone brushing up against her, and sipped from a glass of bourbon - nothing too pricey, but it was slightly higher than she was used to and Rogue was working on savoring it. Her eyes studied the room at large, landing briefly on a dark haired man not too far away, then went on.
