Natasha stayed silent as he answered her question and the creature - the thestral - approached. She studied it with interest, intrigued by it. Her gaze returned to Richard when he spoke to the stallion, a little amusing creeping into her eyes when the thestral appeared to speak to him in return. She met the creature's gaze and gave him a slight nod. Once the lights faded, she lifted her cup for another sip and returned her attention to the man beside her.
"Interesting test," she said at last. "Though I might argue that sometimes even those who understand death aren't necessarily allies." Lowering the beverage, she gave him a small smile. "And if I hadn't come armed, would you still have put me through this?" She asked it curiously while nodding for him to lead the way back to the house.
