Steve was always on time. It was just the way he was. He looked up the way to the coffee shop on his phone (another very useful feature that would have come in handy in the past) and set off.
He was glad to be meeting people. He didn't want to cling to Bucky and suffocate his best friend. Bucky surely had his own life he wanted to get on with before Steve had decided to drop in. He didn't regret it for a minute, though. He wasn't the type to dwell in the past. He'd never had that luxury and he didn't intend to start now. He was incredibly lucky to be alive and well, and Bucky was as well. If the surroundings weren't perfect, well, it never had been.
He neared the coffee shop, looking for someone who looked like the picture. He spotted her immediately, though she wore a hat. He smiled at his new friend and waved as he approached.
