"I know, right? I mean they totes could've picked something cooler...like uh, Blazing Super Ninja or something. Still the press and people dig me and my name, so it's all good. Waiting on that shoe deal, but ya know it's all good." When the older woman approached the table and spotted the two empty pie boxes, and the crust flakes on the young man chin, she smiled softly and just handed Bart some napkins before heading back to the counter. "Oh it seems fast to you but for me, well kinda imagine if the rest of the world was totes moving in slo mo, I mean like to the point where it's even standing still at times while ya are still moving the same...ya can take your sweet time wolfing down a pie, but to the outside world it seems like it just freaking vanished."
Bart's body wasn't the only thing that was fast, even his mind was racing away at freakish speeds too. So during most conversations the speedster seemingly jumped tracks, yet it all flowed seamlessly in his noggin. Well mostly...he also was both outgoing and sorta shy around pretty girls like her, so he also tended to ramble a bit. "Thanks! Took a good friend to help me get onto the uh, the good path and stuff. Kinda did some bad things back before the hero gig, but my amigos showed me there was a better way." The question of how he got to Preya didn't phase the speedster at all, and with a grin he shrugged his shoulders. "Well I got the invite, things were kinda...well not bad, but sorta slowish I guess? Back home, and so when they sent the directions I just ran here...and here I am."
