She couldn't help but laugh at his enthusiasm for food, shaking her head as she finished off the last of her tea. "Yeah, I can't see why they would call you that at all," she said, shaking her head as the waitress came over for a refill of hot water for her. "I'm surprised you can enjoy the taste of any food for how fast you eat it!"
Roxy was sure he had gotten all sorts of responses for talking about his life, trying to make a living on the streets and coming to his own. "You seem to be doing well now," she said, not sure how he took to talking about his past life. He certainly seemed to be someone who focused on the now and seemed pleasantly happy. "How did you come to Preya?" Roxy was always curious to find other people's motives for coming here, wondering if any had regrets or were, in face, settled to life here and accepting of it.
