As promised, Lydia would take care of some things she had to do in the morning, so once the afternoon came she would be coming up to Mitch’s door. Three knocks given. “Mitchy, it’s me.” She called out, as she held that brown paper bag in her arms. Her red hair tied back as she wore simple jeans and a shirt with sneakers. Lydia was finding this was becoming her normal wear, instead of dresses like in Beacon Hills.
She also had planned to meet with Allison tonight and have a girls sleepover, as well as set up the bonfire party tomorrow. Something, Lydia was going to invite Mitch to if he wanted to get out his apartment. Once that door came open, Lydia came to smile at Mitch. “I bought some food over.” She said lightly as she pushed her way into the apartment.
That bag placed on the counter as she started taking out the items. Eggs, milk, vegetables, fruits, meat. All the basic food groups really. She figured Mitch was going out to buy it so when she went grocery shopping for tomorrow she picked him some things. Including beer.

Mitch had been fine enough on his own. Sure, he wasn't doing the greatest with his gunshot wound, but he would never have expected some girl to just show up at his door one day. The world worked in mysterious ways and meeting Lydia had been weird enough. But he was kind of glad that she was now in his life. She had no connection to anything that had been going on back at home and she was able to help him with the wound.
He had been laying down, sort of asleep, but not, so when the knock came, he opened his eyes and sat up, slowly. He knew Lydia was going to drop by, but it could be anyone at the door, which was why he grabbed his gun and went to the door. He made sure to keep it concealed as he opened the door.
It was just Lydia.
He moved away, letting Lydia in and then shut the door once she was inside. "You didn't have to do that," he told her as he set the gun down on the coffee table and watched as she started to unpack the things that she had brought.

Lydia wasn’t exactly mysterious. She just hadn’t told Mitch what she was exactly. When she first arrived at his door she thought it was Stiles but older. But quickly learned it wasn’t him. Lydia stayed once she saw he was injured and wasn’t tending to his wound properly. That was about a week or so ago. He was almost like a secret until she convinced him to say something on the net.
“I know, I wanted too.” She said with a firm nod of her head as she put the few items away before coming to look at Mitch. Red hair being brushed out her face. “Sleep all day?” She asked as she came to lean against the counter and rest her hands on her hips while she watched him.
It was odd at first meeting Mitch, because of all the guns, but Lydia had become used to it pretty quickly. Since after all she was able to turn her sonic screams into a bullet type shot.

Now they were starting to sound like a broken record. Mitch had pretty much said the same thing over the network to Lydia, that she didn’t need to help him and she replied in pretty much the same exact way that she replied to him just now. He might have only met Lydia a week or so ago, but he was quickly learning a lot about her. Like, if she has her mind set on something, she’s going to do it. And she could be pretty persuasive whenever she wanted to be. There was still something about her that he couldn’t put his finger on just yet. “Thanks,” he finally said before sitting down on the couch.
“On and off.” It was kind of hard to sleep with a bullet wound. Especially when his body reminded him of it whenever he moved wrong. “Better than not at all, I guess.” He left out the bit where he just wouldn’t stop thinking about his mission and how completely wrong it went. She didn’t need to know. Nobody did.
“What are you doing today?”

“Well, I learned my best-friend is here in Preya. So We’re having a sleepover to catch up. Since.. The incident with her was three years ago for me, but new for her.” She replied with a slight shrug as she came to walk around and hand Mitch a beer. Her reason for the beer was because she knew she was going to have to clean his wound.
Lydia never did ask how he got a gun shoot. But it also wasn’t her business. She was just glad she was brought here to help him. He looked like he could use the help and a friend for that matter. Still, she came to smile in his direction as she brushed her hair from her face. “Come on, we need to get you clean.” She replied as she crossed her arms over her chest for the moment.
“So, you go wash up while I get the first aid kit.” She added as she came to walk off towards the cabinet he had that kit in from the last time she was here.

Mitch wasn't even going to ask how an incident could be the past for Lydia and also something that just happened to her friend. This place was strange and his mind was too full of other things to start thinking about Preya things. So, he said nothing. He just listened. And he took the beer when Lydia handed it to him.
He was actually surprised that Lydia hadn't asked him what happened. Most people would have by now. Wouldn't anyone? But he was kind of glad that she didn't. He didn't want to explain what he was doing before he came to Preya. Hell, he was still trying to figure out what exactly he did wrong and how he almost died because of his mistakes.
He set the drink down and then stood up. She was right, they needed to get it done. The sooner the better in his book. "I'll be back," he told her before he went to do what he needed to do.
It wasn't long before he was back where Lydia was. This time though he wasn't wearing a shirt. The bullet wound that had gone through his shoulder was visible for anyone to see. It didn't look as bad now as it did when he first arrived. He sat back down and then looked over at Lydia. "How come you don't ask any questions?"

Lydia came to smile and watch Mitch wander off to get ready. She herself would already be slipping on gloves as she came to get the new wraps and wipes ready on the counter next to them. She thought about Allison for the moment and smiled. Her best friend was her, and that meant the world to her.
When Mitch came back, Lydia found herself staring for a moment. She took notice of the patch of hair on his chest and stomach, only to shake her head lightly. Already she came to walk beside him as she started to remove the tape with alcohol so not to pull at his skin.
But soon he came to ask about why she didn’t ask a question. A slight shrug of her shoulders given. “We all have a past.” She said lightly as she came to clean off his wound. “I look good.” She said about the way it was healing. A step is taken back as she came to lift up her shirt. On her right side would be three large claw-like scars on her skin.
“Like I said, we all have a past.”

Honestly, Lydia could've ripped it off and it wouldn't have bothered him that much. The wound hurt, yes, but it was slowly starting to subside, which he took as a good sign. It was even better hearing that it was starting to look better. Good. Because this was torture. Yes, he had been shot twice before, but that was during the beach raid and he ended up in the hospital. This time he didn't go to the hospital, didn't want to. Especially since he wasn't quite sure if Preya was actually safe for him. He didn't need Kennedy or Hurley finding him. Not when he didn't trust any of them at the moment.
He looked up from staring at the floor and saw the scars on Lydia. "It looks like you got in a fight with a bear." He was pretty sure that's not what happened to her, but he wasn't going to ask for details. If she wanted to share, she would. Just like he could as easily start sharing, but that wasn't happening. Not now. "So, you said your best friend is here. Is there anyone else here that you know?"
***
“A few people.” She replied as she came to place the new wraps on that wound and come to step away for the moment. “Stiles and Cora I know. Derek, Peter. Malia and Isaac.” she said naming those from back home that was nowhere.
Her frame came to walk towards the kitchen now, as she searched the cabinets for that small pot, once found she would start to make something for him to eat. Which wasn’t anything fancy just some ramen noodles, with snap beans and shrimp. As well as a few other seasonings to add and make it more filling.
***
It sounded like quite a few people from Lydia's home had shown up here, which meant people that he knew could pop up at any time. He would just have to pay attention to who popped up from now on. "Not alone here then."
Was she done with him already? That was fast. Well, she was done patching him up, now it seemed like she had other things in mind. He stood up and ended up leaning on the counter, watching her as she moved around the kitchen. "What are you doing?" That was a dumb question. He could see what she was doing. She was cooking. "You don't have to do that." She really didn't.
***
All Lydia would do is come and look at Mitch for the moment. She didn’t say anything, just glared really in his direction at that moment. But her attention came back to the noodles as she started adding the extras. “Mitchy, you should know by now that I’m going to do things because I want too.” She started lightly as she moved away from the stove to let the food cook.
Her frame coming back to his wound as she went back to cleaning it. “Least you didn’t need stitches.” She said as she came to let her hand come down and away from his back as she moved around and took a seat across from him.
“Food should be ready in ten minutes also.” She said with a bright smile on her features. “So.. I was thinking if you feel better if you wanted to come to either the bonfire party I’m doing tomorrow night or to my Halloween Party in Bloodwood Manor?”
***
"Alright, okay," he said when she started to glare at him. Maybe he should stop telling her that she didn't need to do anything that she did. She obviously wanted to do it. Even if he didn't think she needed to. He could have made himself something to eat once she left. He wasn't totally helpless. "You're right. I won't say it again."
She hadn't been done with him, which meant he was taking a seat again so that she could finish dealing with the wound. "I'm lucky the bullet didn't hit anything vital." Or he wouldn't be dealing with the pain, he would have bled out and died instead. But he was lucky that the bullet went straight through and hadn't hit anything major.
Parties and a bonfire. Not his thing. "I think I might have to skip those," he told her. "But have fun."

Lydia came to make a face at Mitch again. “You know, I’m just going to bother you until you come out.” She said as she came to arch a brow and watch him closely. A smile coming to her features for the moment. “You don’t have to dress up. But it’s a good way to get you out the apartment.” She said lightly as she came to move back into the kitchen.
Once inside, she would pour the soup and the cooked meal across to him. The rest is saved for dinner for him. “Eat, and rest. I’ll be back tomorrow to check on you again.” She added with a slight smile on her features. Her bag taken within her hold as she moved towards the door.
“Bye Mitchy.” She said as she waved and came to leave and head back home.
