Allison & Deucalion
Her eyes grew steadily larger as she stared at him, listening to everything he told her. She didn't understand most of what he said, pretty much starting from when he mentioned Mexico all the way up to her grandfather having an army. When he finished, Allison shook her head slowly, crossing her arms absently over herself almost hard enough to flinch as she brushed the place where she'd been stabbed.
"That all sounds... If I didn't know how weird our lives already were, I'd say it doesn't sound real. And I don't understand half of it. Meeting his eyes again, she let out a slow sigh. She wasn't prepared to trust him without reservations, but she was willing to, maybe, take what he said at face value.
"How do I know all this is true?" There was a pause, and after a moment she went on. "Did Gerard kill a lot of people? What happened to him? The last I saw him, he was still recovering from the wolfsbane."
