Narcissa smile and nodded in return. "At least we can pose the invitation to them and see if they are interested. I think it would be nice to have a gathering of people I would wish to be around." She had never been put into a situation (yet) where she was forced to be around people she did not wish to be, but the thought of a smaller, intimate group of like individuals was a pleasing thought; especially if they were all witches and wizards. As much as she was beginning to enjoy her time in Preya, the thought of something familiar was also reassuring.
"I think that sounds like a brilliant idea. I shall speak to Lucius once he returns home and let you know. But next week sounds good." She was sure Arcturus wasn't thrilled with the prospect of the tutoring, but at least he seemed to understand the necessity to it. Besides, she was sure Lucius would be able to make it interesting. She'd make sure to include some fun potions as well as the ones she had learned at Hogwarts.
"I was," she said, "although it was just my sixth year. Why do you ask?" It had been a position appointed to her due to her name and she didn't quite care for it, other than the power that came with it to dock points to those who got in her way or annoyed her. She rather enjoyed that part of it.
She paused on answering, covering her hesitation with a sip of tea. He seemed so sure his father would arrive for him and each time Narcissa didn't have the heart to correct him. One of these days he would start to understand then what? She could only be prepared if that day were to come. "I can explain why we had to use them here, but do you truly think it would be best to use them back home? I doubt this muggle technology is that advanced in our time." Really, she had no idea and she didn't intend to figure it out.
"When we go to Everdale, we can pick up some journals then. You can choose the type you like best."
