Narcissa offered a look of surprise as he jerked away, bowing instead. Right, the time difference. Narcissa suddenly wondered if her dress was inappropriate, but...well, it was too late for that now. Instead she smiled, taking his offered hand and shook it in greeting. "Very well thank. Welcome to my home. I'm very happy you could make it today." She stepped to the side to allow him in before following him into the foyer. The house elf closed the door and locked it after them.
He was so polite, so well versed in proper etiquette it almost took Narcissa aback. She had always thought she versed herself well, but young Arcturus was outshining her in that. "My dear, please do not fret. I can understand how upsetting some people may be. You must realize that some do it on purpose just to see a reaction from you." She placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled. "You just learn to ignore them." She took the hand away, not wanting him to feel uncomfortable with too much physical touch; she figured it was not proper during his time either.
"Please, come in to the living area. I've set up a beautiful spread that we may share together." She waved her hand to the room to allow him to enter first as only befitting a guest.
"I've been doing quite well, thank you." She followed after him, snapping her fingers at the house elf to begin serving them their tea. "This place may be a bit too muggle for myself, but with you and Aunt Cassi and Lucius here, I find myself enjoying it more than I would have thought." She gestured to a chair for him to sit, taking one opposite of him. "Remind me again Arcturus, how long have you been here?"
