Were Darcy's enthusiasm a bottled commodity, even Genji would have purchased some regardless of the fact he no longer needed for much in the way of sustenance. He didn't expressly dislike this new land and was, in fact, eager to explore more of it as evidenced by his venturing out of Evermore's forests in search of modernized areas. Be that as it may, the idea of never being able to leave again was disconcerting to him. Genji had discontinued his service to Overwatch with intentions of finding himself over the course of his travels. Ironically, he'd never felt more lost in having severed all ties to his past.
It was at times like these he missed having pockets to stuff his hands into, and perhaps the shadow of a hoodie to hide within as he familiarized himself with the streets of Ravenmoore. Technically speaking he was naked, but most people mistook the exposed metal parts of him as some kind of armor. It wasn't a wholly incorrect assumption, and not one he'd bother quibbling over. Still, he'd do well to pick up something casual to wear during future excursions.
The woman ahead of him pinged on his radar as someone to have unwittingly made themselves into a target. Apparently, you could take the boy out of the crime syndicate but not the crime syndicate out of the boy. She was alone, and her electronic device gave him two critical pieces of information. First of all, she likely had other valuables on her person, and secondly, the music left her at least partly oblivious to her surroundings. If anyone were so inclined, they could easily strike from behind and be gone before most people knew what had happened.
Just because terrible thoughts occurred to him didn't mean he was going to act upon them. Long gone were his purse snatching days, thank the gods. Instead, he watched after Darcy almost protectively, and when something appeared to drop out of her bag, the recently discovered good Samaritan within urged him to scoop it up and angle for her attention. "Pardon the interruption to your regularly scheduled broadcast, but I believe this is yours."
