Okay, well... he invited her in. So Elena stepped in. And he pulled out her chair, brought her wine? He wasn't kicking her out, freaking out, asking a billion questions. Elena moved almost cautiously to the table, unsure what was happening now. She was confused as to what was happening now.
She accepted the wine with a gentle, "thank you," and sipped it. It was quite good, so far as she was concerned, and seemed to pair with the smells coming from the food. Of course, Elena didn't have to eat, but she still liked to. It made her feel human. It didn't taste the same--it was nowhere near as good as it would have been if she were human--but it still felt good to do.
"No, I think the wine is perfect." She said, setting her glass down. "This is a really lovely meal. Thank you."
