Who: Lucius Malfoy & Narcissa Black
What: (Awkward?) Reunion
When: Backdated to Friday
Where: Narcissa's Home, then dinner
Rating/Warning: Low
Status: Closed and in progressEverything seemed to be completely mental here. Narcissa wasn't sure how to wrap her head around everything that had transpired or was even happening now. First her parents had demanded she come to this infernal place and leave Lucius behind. She had arrived, only to be given all these muggle instruments and no instructions on how to use them. They told her to reach out on this...internet for help and she was barely able to communicate with anyone. Of course there were the mudbloods she knew would comment with their snarky responses. But there were also a few surprises. Meeting old family members and realizing there was a time difference here was just the beginning. Finding out that your fiancée was here as well and older? That was the cherry on top.
Lucius didn't quite specify what "some years older" may be, but she worried he might be much older. If didn't help matters after she spoke to Potter's child through the network and she began to wonder what the possibilities of time could be here.
Part of her wondered if she really wanted to know.
Lucius had agreed to come over so they could speak in person, rather than through that damn muggle contraption. She thought this was for the best as it made Narcissa feel inferior, a feeling a Black should never have to feel. She hated this kind of muggle technology and the fact that she was forced to use it. She didn't want to have her life completely turned upside down (for the second time) and not have Lucius there, no matter how old he might be. At least she would be with someone who was familiar to her, close to her.
She forced herself to sit on one of her lavish couches, waiting for him to arrive. At least she still had her luxuries here. Her parents made sure she arrived as only befitting a Black and she had every comfort she could of had at home. The was the best she had going for her at the moment. She ordered a house elf to make some tea and stared out the window, her mind whirling to the possibilities that were about to present themselves.
