Faora was very much for keeping her abilities unknown, especially given the results last time a rather public display had been made. It had not been pleasant for either parties involved.
Of course, it hadn't been merely simple observation that had let her know of the guards. She'd since come to control her abilities, and was no longer weakened by sensory overload. Simply seeing the guns hidden through x-ray vision had told her enough to deduce their purpose. They were either guards, or there was an imminent attack about to happen. Their movement patterns however suggested the former.
While engineered for battle, Faora was still quite capable of seeing certain patters, and the suggestion did not go unnoticed. It was perhaps because of her military training that she latched more to the hidden inference than the actual stated. "I see," she replied in her usual dead pan tone. "There are indeed rather... odd people that are appearing here, some of which I venture your staff is not prepared to handle. Given that as far as I know, I am the last of my kind and thus, do not have a ranking officer to report to, my services are being somewhat wasted. There was only one time I failed in my duties, Kal-El exposed a temporary weakness when we first arrived on your planet. That weakness... is no longer an issue."
