"Just a piece of plastic pipe usually that they stick in the gutter. Gives you a better chance at hitting something." Dean nodded, smiling some. He'd played with bumpers, at least until Ben had gotten the hang of throwing. He figured they could throw a few and see how it went before asking the guy to bring the out, or put them up if this was a fancy place.
He looked back at Levi before moving to sit and handle his own shoe situation, nodding some as he stared down at the awful leather shoes at the end of his jeans. He tried not to pull a face, but he was pretty sure he was going to want another shower after this. At least, the place didn't seem full of smoke or anything like that. "I own a shop. Garage. I work on cars." He smiled some. "I always wanted to be a firefighter, or a mechanic...or a rockstar. And I never learned to sing."
Once he had the shoes figured out and his boots tucked under a chair, Dean moved to stand so he could poke in their names into the machine, making sure he kept to the side so Levi could watch if he was interested. "I need a drink... you want something? Fries?" He straightened up, looking down the lane then to check to see there was a couple balls already waiting. He wasn't one of those picky people who needed anything specific, he'd just adjust to whatever weight was there. "You can go ahead and take your turn."
