Levi actually smirked at Dean's utterance and the unmistakeable awe in it. "Badass," he agreed, but left it at that. He wasn't really out to embarrass the other man, and while Levi wasn't particularly humble, he also didn't put much weight in what others thought of his abilities. He was confident, not big-headed.
"What's a bumper?" Levi asked, but was then distracted by the man at the counter asking what size shoes he wore. Maybe, just maybe, he got into a bit of a stare down with the other man when he realized he had to wear shoes that someone else had in the past. Unsanitary, that was what that was. Still, he yanked them off the counter with a bit of a huff and picked up his pace in order to catch up with Dean toward the far end. Why was it that he had to always take two steps for every other giant's one?
"The noise isn't great," he agreed, tilting his head to watch some people some few lanes away bowling -- the pins knocking over were loud, even louder than the music. But at least he'd seen a real example now. It was more rolling than throwing. That made sense. "I work in private security at a building downtown," he said, and if he sounded bored by it, it was because it was boring. "Mostly I just watch screens to make sure no one is wandering around at night. What do you do?" He turned the pair of shoes over in his hands and eyed them critically before sitting down to put them on. It was a good thing he'd worn just normal clothes - a button down and jeans (which he genuinely liked) and a pair of blue sneakers rather than the knee high boots he was so used to.
