"I bet." Derek had to admit. It was a lot more than what he remembered her doing. He wasn't entirely sure what that was, but she seemed okay and not worried by it. He could only conclude that it was normal.
He nodded, more than happy to help her up, not even overly concerned with her holding his hand. If she needed some form of support and that was how she sought it, he was okay with that. It felt like something mild in comparison to a lot Derek had experienced. "You know, you're welcome to stay here tonight, if you want or think it might help. Knowing there's no neighbors to anger might put your mind at ease."
Taking a moment to look out at the water, Derek gave a small nod. "I have. I'm primal, remember?" He thinned his lips and gave her a little nod, trying not to smile before looking at the water. "It's cool, but not really cold. If you want to, I don't mind spending some time out here."
