The chuckle had her frowning just a little, but she decided to bite her tongue this time. While talking had saved her life more than once and earned her her livelihood, it also tended to get her into a lot of trouble, and she really didn't want to fight him anytime soon. Or ever, for that matter. Kitty instead kept her eyes on the kitten, still smiling.
"She's precious - and I have no problem with her being here as long as she doesn't try to attack our food," she said jokingly. Telling herself there was no reason at all to be nervous, she returned her gaze to Deucalion's face, not quite comfortable with the sunglasses he had on. She was used to seeing people's eyes, and her wolfish senses weren't any happier at not being able to read him easier.
