Though she hadn't been to too many protests in her day, Elena knew how to handle herself in crowds. Maybe it came from all the parades and festivals they used to have in Mystic Falls, or maybe it came from some other instinct she felt deep inside, but she'd become very good at navigating through the packed street.
She could smell all the people, and was very glad that she'd had breakfast this morning before she headed out. It might have been hard to be around so many people on an empty stomach, so to speak.
While she wasn't really planning on bumping into anyone, she knew she might. So when she saw Cas being jostled by the tightly packed crowd, she headed straight for him. Her arm looped through his, elbows tight together.
"Hey!" She said, lifting her voice so she could be heard above the crowd. "How are you?"
