Lydia assumed Stiles, was tired of her keeping secrets from him when it came to her mental health lately. So, when he showed up at her place it had caught her off guard. But she wasn’t going to turn him away, as she came to move to the side and allowed him in. She had heard the news of him and Malia, and despite how she felt she did feel bad he had gone through that. But it wasn’t a topic she was going to bring up. “Hey, what brings you here?” She asked with a lifted brow for the moment.
Her frame wearing simple sweats and a tank top. After all, she was in the privacy of her own home. Strawberry blond hair was in a messy bun, but what stood out was the visible look of bags under her eyes. Since she didn’t have makeup on to keep them hidden while out and about during the day. So it would give Stiles an idea of when exactly was the last time Lydia slept.
Still, Lydia tried to play it off like nothing was wrong. But this was her third night making the tea Levi had given her to help her stay awake during the night.
***
Normally Stiles would just bug Lydia over the network, but not today. It was too easy to lie over the network. He wanted to see how she was truly doing and that was why he had just shown up at her home.
When she opened the door, he had his answer. The dark circles under her eyes told him that she hadn't slept in a long time. "I wanted to see how you were," he told her as he walked in.
Once he was inside, he turned around so that he could look at her. "I know what you're going to say. You're going to say that you're fine even though it's pretty obvious that you're not."
***
A deep sigh escaped her lips. It was a lot harder to lie to him when he was right in front of her. Especially seeing her without makeup. “I didn’t want you to worry….” She said lightly as she came to move towards the kitchen to grab that kettle off the stove and pour that black tea into her cup.
Green eyes came to look at Stiles as she turned to face him. She didn’t bother smiling since she was caught at this point. She went to say something to him but didn’t really know what to say right now. But she did come to take a sip of her tea. “It’s not as bad as it looks.” She said softly as she came to look away from him for the moment.
Even she knew that wasn’t true. Since she couldn’t really remember the last time she had gotten a full eight hours of sleep. Least since she arrived at Preya.
***
"Too late, Lydia." Stiles had been worrying about her before and now that he saw her...he really was worried. He followed her into the kitchen and watched her.
She was kidding, right? "You look worse than when I wasn't sleeping." He wished Lydia would stop trying to put on the act. It was only making things worse.
"When was the last time you actually slept?" He wasn't going to beat around the bush. He wanted to know. It was obvious by her eyes it had been days, but it could definitely be a lot more than what he was guessing.
***
She came to bite her bottom lip when he asked that. It was a loaded question and she knew it. “A full eight hours?” She said as she came to nibble her bottom lip once more. But soon her hand came to play with that cup lightly. She thought, she literally had to think about when she slept for eight hours.
“The most sleep I’ve gotten is maybe three to five hours…. In total.” She said as she came to take a sip of her drink. She really couldn’t look at Stiles for the moment. He was right, she did look worse than he did when he hadn’t slept. “Every time I sleep… I get flashbacks and, I wake up screaming.” She told him honestly as she looked down to the black tea in the cup.
She knew she should have told him, but with everything going on with her and her memories of back home, and him worrying she didn’t want to make it worse, but she did in the end. Still, she came to look up at him as she sighed deeply once more. “I’m trying different things to help me sleep without having the flashbacks. My last resort is Cas.”
***
"Yes," he said with a slight nod of his head, "A full eight hours." He kept watching her, knowing that whatever her answer may be, he wasn't going to like it.
"In total? Since you arrived here?" Okay, that was pretty damn bad. He didn't realize that it had become this bad. "How are you even functioning right now?" If he hardly slept, he'd pretty much be dead by now. He couldn't imagine going on with hardly in sleep.
"What kind of things have you tried?" He asked. "No, no Cas. Who knows what he might do to you."
***
“Energy drinks, coffee.. This tea Levi gave me seems to help me stay focused.” She replied honestly. Of course, she knew Stiles wasn’t a fan of Cas, but he was her last resort. Even if he didn’t like it.
“Medication, meditation stuff like that but… The meds make me hallucinate and the meditation makes me doze off and makes the sounds of flashbacks louder.” She replied lightly with a shrug of her shoulder. “I just need to not dream, and I’ll be fine. “ She said honestly as she came to move towards the couch to take a seat.
Patting the seat beside her as she watched him take a seat. “I know I should have told you… But you seem to have your own troubles lately and I didn’t want to add more to your stress. Plus… I thought I could handle it.” She said as she stared at the black tea.
***
It sounded like she was trying anything and everything to keep herself away, which wasn't good. "Maybe you shouldn't be drinking that," he suggested. He knew he couldn't make Lydia do anything. All he could do was suggest and just be there for her.
"Maybe you just need to talk about it all." That was supposed to help, right? "We can't make ourselves stop dreaming. But you can't keep this up. You're going to end up in the hospital or something."
He sat down on the couch. He looked away for a moment when she mentioned that he had been having his own problems lately, which, yeah, he did. But that didn't mean he wanted Lydia to think that she couldn't talk to him. "Obviously you can't or you wouldn't look like hell." He looked back up and over at Lydia. "You're sleeping tonight. Even if I have to stay here and make sure that you do."
***
She came to look at her cup and placed it on the coffee table. She sighed deeply once more as she came to turn and face him better. “How…” She asked as she came to watch him. She did play with the idea of talking but she shrugged to herself.
“I keep getting flashbacks…. Of literally everything.” She replied as she came to look at Stiles as she brushed a few red strands from her face that had fallen from that bun. “Then I get terrors of ‘what if’ things. Those are the worse.” She admitted as she watched Stiles for the moment.
“You can stay whenever you want, you know that… Not sure if I’ll sleep but I won’t turn down the company. A few people have stayed with me so far. It’s almost become a bad habit. It distracts me though, from thinking and keeps the voices quiet.” She admitted as she shrugged.
“A new friend came earlier this week, Levi he brought me the tea.” She said pointing to the cup she placed down. “And.. this is the one that’s going to piss you off… Derek came by.” She said as she waited for Stiles to make that infamous face he made when annoyed.
***
How. that was a good question. Stiles wasn't exactly sure how he was going to help her go to sleep. Maybe just talking and keeping her company would be the thing. Then again it might not change a thing. He was pretty much willing to do anything. He just wasn't quite sure what that was at the moment. "I don't know, but we'll figure it out." They always did.
"Of everything that's gone at back at home?" He would say that he was surprised, but he wasn't. They had all been through so much. Sometimes he wondered how many of them stayed sane. And it wasn't like he didn't dream of what happened before he came to Preya. It was still there. Still in his mind. "Why are you think about the what ifs?"
Okay, so the sleeping over thing wasn't a new thing to her. He just wondered how many people actually stuck around and even knew about this? "Well, they aren't me. Maybe I'll bore you to sleep," he joked.
And then she mentioned that Derek had been around. That kind of annoyed him and it was written all over his face. "Seriously? Derek?"
***
She knew Derek would bug him. “I didn’t plan on it but he offered and..” She shrugged lightly. “To be fair it was a bit awkward, since the last time I was alone with Derek, I pretty much predicted he was going to die.” She said with another sigh of her lips.
But Stiles was right, those people weren’t him. And they always had a connection with each other and had managed to stick by each other. “I’m sure we’ll figure something out. If not tonight then another night.” She said since she knew this wouldn’t be the last time Stiles would stay over. It was Stiles.
“I keep thinking... What if Jennifer had killed me? Or Peters bite? What if I just gave into the Nogitsune? What if… I never remembered you…” She replied as she came to look away from him at the last comment.
***
"I just...I can't believe you told him but you couldn't tell me." That's what probably bugged him the most about it. "Oh." He didn't know what else to say about that. Other than, good that he was glad it was awkward.
Oh well, he knew what was going on now and he was going to help Lydia however he could. "Sooner rather than later."
He listened and then shook his head. "You can't think like that, Lydia. It's going to mess with you if you think about all of the what-ifs. You gotta stop." He knew it was easier said than done, but it really was something that needed to happen.
He stood up, reached and grabbed her hand and started to pull her up. "Come on, you're going to bed."
***
Once her hand was taken as she was pulled to a stand, she just blinked at him. “But...I’m not tired….” She said as she came to follow or rather be pulled in the direction of her bedroom. Once inside, it was a typical room with a Queen size bed. Her dresser though, dd have picture frames of the pack from back home.
Despite wanting to get away from it all, she did love her friends and missed them every day. So she had pictures of them on her dresser so she could see them. Still, Lydia just sighed as she stood in her room and stared at Stiles.
“Okay, how are we going to try and help me sleep?” She asked with a brow kinked up as she stared at him. As if he had all the answers right now, but knowing Stiles, he was just going with the motion.
***
"Yes, you are. Stop fighting it." She had to be, he was convinced of it. Especially with how she looked. He just kept walking, pulling her along until they reached her bedroom.
He let go of her hand, his eyes catching the pictures that she had of everyone on her dresser. He quickly looked away since all it did was start making him think of home and he didn't want that. His attention went right back to Lydia.
"Well, first you have to get into the bed. Unless your new trick is to sleep while standing up." He smiled a tiny bit. He really had no idea how they were going to get her to fall asleep. He was just kind of winging it. Like he did with most things.
***
“That’s right, I sleep standing up now.” She replied crossing her arms in his direction. “Stiles... I’m really not tired…” She told him once more as she watched him closely. A deep sigh escaped her lips since she knew it was no use at this point with him. “Can I at least change?” She said as she came to move towards her dresser.
“Also, I don’t have any clothes for you so….” She said looking at him with a slight face. It wasn’t like back home where she had males clothes because of her past. Here, Lydia had enough to deal with when it came to her emotions and feelings for Stiles. For the moment she moved to the dresser and grabbed at something.
Her frame moving to the bathroom. “Just, I dunno get relaxed?” She said unsure what to say as she moved to change into her sleeping attire. It didn’t take her long to change really. Slipping on those grey silk lace loose fitting shorts and matching the top. Her red hair came loose as she placed it in a braid. She was done changing but stayed in the bathroom a bit longer. Enough to let Stiles change or undress. She wasn’t really sure what to expect.
Still, she finally came out the bathroom as she came to stand by the bathroom she just watch Stiles closely. “...Still not tired…” She replied as she shifted her eyes away, as she let her fingers play with the lace of her shorts.
***
"You will be once you lay down and relax." Stiles wasn't going to let her get away with it. She could stand there all she wanted saying how she wasn't tired. He was still going to make her go to bed. "oh, you're not sleeping in that?" he asked as he motioned towards what she already had on. "Go change."
He really hadn't been worried about what he would wear. It wouldn't be the first time or the last time he just slept in his clothes. "Don't worry about me. Go get changed," he said, waving her off.
The only things he managed to take off were his shoes and socks. After that, he just sat down on the edge of the bed and waited for Lydia to come back out of the bathroom.
He was about to call out if she got lost in there, but that's when the door finally opened and Lydia stepped out. He shouldn't stare, but how could he not. Especially with what she was wearing. "Will you just get into bed. You're like a five-year-old."
***
She pouted, literally pouted at being called a five-year-old. Let alone being called that by Stiles. A low grumble escaped her lips as she came to move towards the large bed and shoo him to move over. Once he did, her frame would crawl into the bed. It wasn’t a lie she was tired. But she also knew the outcome. She was going to toss and turn and soon scream. Just now she had Stiles with her, so she worried.
But still, she came sit on the bed and stare at Stiles. “How about you talk to me?” She said with a smile. It was obvious by this point that she was trying to avoid sleep, as best as she possibly could. But she came to exhale deeply. “Okay okay… Now what?” She asked as she came to sit with her legs folded under her.
Green eyes came to stare at Stiles for the moment. Realizing this is the first time they were in the same bed trying to sleep. Even back home, nothing like this ever happened. But then again back home was also trying to kill them so…
***
Stiles was grinning. Lydia was actually pouting. It was kind of cute. It wasn't going to make him stop, though. She needed sleep. And he was going to make sure that she got some. He moved when she shooed at him. And once she was in bed he flopped down beside her, laying on his side so that he could look at her.
"No sitting. Lay down," he demanded. "What do you want to talk about?" Talking was fine. Even though he knew it was just something else to keep her awake. Then again, maybe it'll actually calm her down enough to actually fall asleep.
***
She came to exhale deeply as she rolled her eyes. Her frame coming to lay on her side and turned to face him. “You know when this doesn’t work. I’m going to smack you with a pillow. You know that right?” She said as she came to smile lightly and shake her head. Pushing her hair from her face as she came to think for the moment.
“I dunno. This was your idea.” She replied as she wiggled her bows at him for the moment. “I’m just going along to prove nothing is going to work.” She said as she came to exhale once more and stared at him. Her eyes narrowed for the moment.
“Cut your hair.” She said pushing his hair back since it did have a slight length to it. But in a sense it was almost cute on him, it made him look more grown up since Stiles did have a slight baby face still.
***
All of the sighing and pouting wasn't going to deter him. Nope. Lydia could keep on doing it. Stiles would just smile her way each and every single time she did it. "Go ahead and hit me with a pillow. Just remember, I'll hit you back with one."
Yeah, okay, this was his idea. He should come up with something to talk about. "Ummm...." Yeah, why was his mind failing him right now? He seriously couldn't think of anything to talk about.
"Why? You don't like it?" He knew that he needed to get it out. He just hadn't bothered going and getting it done. "Is it getting too long for your liking?"
***
When he said he’d hit her back with one she laughed a bit. Which was progress, since she hadn’t really laughed in a while. Count on Stiles to get one out of her. When he said about him her being to her liking she came to almost examine him with it. A shrug of her shoulder was given. “I can deal with it. Plus, I can do this.”
She said as she tugged at his hair playfully for the moment, which caused her to laugh once more. “I can literally pull your hair when you bug me too much.” She said tugging against with a smile on her face. She also noticed he had nothing to talk about which annoyed her so... She would tug once more.
“This is for making me get into bed with no plan.” She said tugging over and over. “I think I like the long hair.” She said lightly. Tug. Tug. TUG.
***
Well, hey, Stiles got a laugh out of Lydia. That was something, right? Since she wasn't even smiling when he first arrived. So he would take this as a small step forward.
He rolled his eyes when Lydia started to tug on his hair. "Oh, great, my hair is now a plaything for you."
When she started to tug on it, even more, he started to swat her hand away. "Knock it off." He reached out and grabbed her braid. "I can do it too, you know." He tugged on her braid just to prove his point.
***
Once her hair was pulled, she let out a yelp. But soon the feel of that pillow hitting him across the face would be felt. Followed by a tug and Lydia rolling off the quickly to get away from Stiles and whatever attack he would try to follow up with.
She did come to try and crawl towards the door to escape into the living room. How far would she actually get? Well, that was up to how long it would take Stiles to realize just what Lydia was doing exactly.
Which was basically avoiding sleep by all means.
***
Stiles should have seen that coming, but he hadn't, which is why he had gotten hit with the pillow. "Not nice, Lydia!" Before he could even react, she was already out of the bed and trying to leave.
He quickly jumped up and made his way over to where she was. He put his arms around her middle and pulled her up. "Oh no, you don't." He wasn't letting her get away that easily. He started to walk them both back towards the bed. "I know what you're doing. Not happening!"
Once he was close enough he tossed her back onto the bed. "I will lay on you if I have to just to keep you there."
***
“Ack!” Is all she said once she felt him lift her up and toss her on the bed. “You wouldn’t dare!” Is all she said as she tried to jump out the bed once more. But even she knew once she tried to jump out, that he would catch and end up sitting on her.
At this point, she rested on her back pouting even more as she glared up at Stiles for the moment. “I’m seriously not tired!” She cried out as she came to lean up while he said on her and tug at his hair backward, which caused his head to pull up slightly.
“I will pull with force, I swear I will!”
***
"Oh! But I would!" He wasn't kidding. Stiles would seriously lay on her and make sure he was nothing but the dead weight just so she couldn't escape from the bed once again. He grabbed her again and pushed back. "You really want me to do it, don't you?"
He wasn't taking any chances. He climbed up onto the bed and sat on Lydia's legs. If she kept on, he was going to do what he said he was going to do. "So you keep saying..."
Of course, he hadn't been ready for her to reach up and grab his hair, either. "Come on, let go," he told her as he smacked at her arm. "Why are you trying to hurt me? I'm not hurting you."
***
“Because I don’t want to sleep!” She cried out. Literally cried at that. The stain of tears kissed her cheeks as she came to let go of Stiles' hair for the moment and just lay on the bed with her hands over her face. She didn’t like crying, hated it in fact. More so in front of Stiles at this moment. “I keep seeing them… All of them…” She replied as she came to keep her hands over her face.
“Our friends, those who died. The pain, the anger. It won’t stop.” She said as she came to pull the pillow over her face at this point. But it wasn’t to stop her from crying, it was to let out that scream that was building up in her throat from the flashes in her head.
Least she was able to cover that high-pitched sound with a pillow, so it wouldn’t hurt Stiles as much. She hoped.
***
"Fuck," he said under his breath. This was not what he wanted to happen. He didn't want her to cry. That wasn't the point of this. He thought they could lay there and talk and hopefully that was all that would make her finally fall asleep. He wasn't trying to make her cry! Now he just felt bad.
He slid off of her legs and sat next to her. "Lydia, I..." He stopped when she started to scream. Even though she covered her face, it still hurt and he had to cover his ears until she was done.
"I'm sorry," he said softly as he dropped his hands from his ears. "I get it. I do. But you can't let that stuff take control of you."
***
She came to pull the pillow off her face as she looked over towards Stiles for the moment. “...I know… Just.. I have so much time here, time to think, process.” She said as she came to slowly sit up and rest her head on his shoulder. She wasn’t upset with him, more so with herself since she couldn’t control what was happening to her.
“I feel like I’m drowning.” She replied as she came to clean off her face. Her frame coming to look up at Stiles for the moment. “...Thank you…” She replied as she came to place a kiss right under his lips near his chin since she was looking up at him.
“You are helping. I only screamed once tonight so far.” She said with a slight smile as she brushed his hair back and came to let her messy braid out its hold. No point in having it tied when it was a mess now.
***
"I know. When I first came here...I kept to myself. Kept thinking about everything far too much. It was me, my little bubble and my thoughts. Malia didn't even know since I did what you were doing. Pretending like I was fine." And then he finally had enough of it and started to make friends, which had helped him a lot. That's why he didn't want to give up tonight. He knew Lydia could get past it too.
"You're welcome." He smiled a tiny smile towards her. "Well, hey, at least I'm doing something semi-right, huh?" He put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. "Do you want to talk about something else?"
***
“I just want to be distracted. I don’t want to think about it anymore.” She replied placing her head on his chest as she came to lift her hand and touch his hair. “And talk about this mop.” She said teasing as she came to sit up a bit more. Her frame sitting across from his as she brought her legs around so they were at his sides.
Her hand coming through his hair, and this time no pulling as she came to look at Stiles for the moment. “I lied. I like it.” She replied about the length of his hair. Only to bring her frame to lean back on the bed and stare at the ceiling for the time being.
“I am glad you came through, we haven’t really hung out in a while. And Chinese doesn’t count either. Least not fully.” She said with a smirk as she poked at his chest with her toes.
***
"I think I've been a pretty good distraction tonight, don't you think?" Even though most of the time he was pretty much demanding that she go to be and go to sleep. But hey, it kept her from thinking, didn't it?
He rolled his eyes again. And right back to his hair once again. "I think you like it since you seem obsessed with it all of a sudden," he teased. "Ha! See. I was right. You're a fan."
He moved his arm and leaned back a bit before he just scooted on down until he was laying down once again. This time he was on his back though. "Hey, Chinese totally counts. We had fun." he looked over at her, smiling. "We need to do more things together."
***
She came to roll her eyes at him. Her frame coming to roll and look at him now since he was on his back. But she moved her frame so she was slightly on his chest with her lower half on the bed, so in a sense, she was laying on him. But she smiled as she rested her chin on her arms that were on his chest.
She thought for the moment. “Yeah, you’re okay at distracting me.” She said smiling as she looked at him. Her hand coming to run through his hair once more, this time in a more playful motion as she exhaled deeply. “I’m still not tired.” She said as she snickered slightly.
As she came to stare at him for the moment, her movements were suddenly, as she leaned over to him and pressed her lips against his in that sudden kiss. It was something she’d been dying to do since she arrived and if she didn’t do it, she was going to go insane.
***
It was pretty funny that he had threatened to lay on her and now she was the one-half laying on him. At least she wasn't trying to run away. So, again, he was would see this as progress.
"Just an okay distraction?" He sighed dramatically. "I should be the best one." He closed his eyes for a moment. "If you keep doing that I might actually fall asleep." And that wasn't the goal. The goal was to get Lydia to sleep! "How can you not be tired after all of that? I think you wore me out." He was half joking. It really did feel like he did just use half of his energy getting her back into bed.
What came next. The kiss. He just kind of stared in shocked after she pulled away. She had only done that to him once before and that was when he was having an anxiety attack. "What...I...what made you do that for? Not that I hated it," he added the last bit in quickly.
***
She came to exhale for the moment as she moved to sit up.” Back home.” She replied once again. “I had to do it… I wanted to do that when I got here and saw you were here. But then I learned you’re not from the same moment I’m from.” She said as she brushed her hair from her face. “So, I kind of tried to distance myself from you because of those feelings we both have back home.”
She said with a shrug of her shoulders. “I had to kiss you.” She replied as she came to look down at Stiles for the moment. “It’s hard to explain. I see you and..I know what happened back home, what we said and… “ She replied shaking her head quickly. “I won’t do it again.” She replied with a firm nod at her last statement.
“You’re different and I don’t want to make you feel a certain way because of what I feel.” She said again with a nod and a forced smile. “I just.. I had too, for one last time I guess?” She said unsure how to even try and explain what she felt since she was failing at the words.
***
And now he was sitting up, like whatever she was going to tell him was something that was meant to be told sitting up. "At least I'm starting to understand why you keep avoiding me." Obviously, a lot happened to them back at home. It was just too bad he didn't have any memories of it. All he had to go on was whatever Lydia felt like sharing with him.
He listened. What she said, it was choppy. So he didn't quite get it all, but it was only a guess that they got a lot closer. Which meant he had to go back home at some point for all of that to happen.
"Am I really all that different?" Not like he knew. Did he change once he was back home? He had no idea. "Trust me, I don't think you could ever change how I feel towards you." His feelings towards her have been cemented since elementary school. He really didn't think anything would change that.
He leaned in and kissed her and when he pulled away, he smirked. "Thought I'd get at least one where I don't end up looking like a deer in headlights afterward."
***
She couldn’t help but laugh lightly at his comment. “Yeah, we all changed a bit. It’s too much to explain really. But you did tell me you love me.” She replied as she came to look at him. “And when we brought you back I did save your life.” She said as she came to look at him and smiled lightly. “Something we seem to do often with each other.” She added as she brushed her hair from her face.
“You can kiss me again, I don’t mind it.” She told him lightly as she came to bite her bottom lip. Least one thing was certain, he was distracting her from screaming and had her thinking more positive thoughts. Which was helping her maintain control right now?
But before he could say or do anything, Lydia leaned into him and kissed him once again.
***
"Got you to laugh again," he pointed out. He might not be getting her to go to sleep, but at least she was laughing here and there. He will take that tiny victory. "I'm not surprised. We keep having to go through so much." It was just life in Beacon Hills. "Did I?" He was a little surprised that he actually told her. He never really thought he'd be able to do it.
Stiles wanted to. He did. But he wasn't totally sure if he should. For a split moment, he wondered if maybe he was taking advantage of her since she hadn't slept in days and...just...everything. But before he could even open his mouth to say anything, she was already leaning in and kissing him again. Well, he wasn't going to pull away. He ended up kissing her back. Lydia was his dream girl. It only made sense that he would do it.
***
When she felt Stiles kiss her back, her heart couldn’t stop beating faster. Her frame came to move closer to his, as her hands came to cup at his face. A simple tilt of her head and the opening of her mouth would cause her to deepen and intensify that shared kiss. With both of them sitting up, it was easy for Lydia to bring one hand to rest on his chest while the other that was on his face, travel to the back of his head and play with the tips of his hair.
That audible moan escaped her lips. Lydia was almost afraid to open her eyes, in fear that this moment was a hallucination. So she kept her eyes closed tighter, the simple fear of a tear coming down her face, but it wasn’t because she was sad. But rather because she was happy. Which was a feeling she hadn’t felt in a long time since arriving here.
***
Kissing Lydia almost felt unreal. Like, maybe this was just a dream. If it were, he really did not want to wake up anytime soon.
He placed a hand on her shoulder and slowly moved it up until it was resting on the side of her head. The other hand started at her knee and he slowly moved it up her thigh and over her silk and lace shorts that she had on. He just wanted to touch her and kiss her until he couldn't anymore.
He did break the kiss for a moment to catch his breath and that's when he saw how tightly Lydia had her eyes closed. That wasn't normal. "Hey...what's with your eyes?"
**
The way his hands touched her made her almost cry for him to not stop. Luckily she didn’t. But when he pulled away she pouted and came to open her eyes. “I was scared if I opened my eyes this would be a dream.” She said lightly as she brushed her hair from her face.
Greens coming to stare up at his brown ones for the moment. Her plump lips were a bit more raw from the kissing as she came to sit back slightly and watch him closely. “The kissing is helping….” She replied as she came to tug at her shorts for the moment.
“I’ve wanted to kiss you since I got here.” She admitted lightly as she gave him a shy smile.

Now really wasn't a time to laugh, but he did just smile a huge goofy smile. "Well, at least we're on the same page." Although, he was pretty sure the reasons they were thinking that way were totally different.
He looked into her eyes. Those perfect green eyes that reminded him that she hadn't been sleeping right in a long, long time. He wished that he had some magical cure for her because she didn't deserve this. But all he could do was just be there for her. "I'm sure it is..." It was a distraction. A good one, if you asked him. But he knew they'd have to come up with something else at some point.
"But you couldn't because I was with Malia," he said, glancing down for a moment. He didn't really want to think about the breakup. "It's still weird that we're all from different points in our lives." It'll always be weird to him. At least things weren't as awkward anymore.

She came to nod her head. “Come on.” She replied as she pulled him down on top of her. Her legs resting at the sides of his hips as she came to wiggle the comforter over them. If they were going to keep kissing, it was going to be laying down at least. “I know. But right now.” She replied as she came to press her lips against his neck.
“I don’t want to think about that.” She stated as she came to run her hands up his back and press her palms to his shirt. Her lips coming to press against any visible skin she would find, before giving his neck small bites here and there. Nothing to leave marks, but rather to just make the skin reed for a second.
Her frame came to lay back down as she let her green eyes stare up at him. “I’m glad you came.”

"Okay." Like, he needed any kind of motivation to move. He would be lying if he hadn't pictured this happening in mind. And now here he was, on top of Lydia, looking down at her. He reached back and sort of helped her with the comforter, but he really didn't care about it. It was probably going to move off of them or get pushed off at some point.
"Right. Yeah. No. Let's not talk about that." It would just bring up things and that wasn't the whole point of this. He wanted her to stop thinking about everything that was keeping her up at night. He closed his eyes and moved his head a bit so that she could have more access to his neck. If she wanted to mark, he didn't care if she did it or not.
He looked back down at her once again when she stopped. "Me too," he said as he reached up and moved some rogue strands of hair away from her face. He wanted to say more, but instead, he leaned down and kissed the corner of her mouth and moved down a little further with each kiss until kissing and nipping at her neck.
