"Huh?" Aqueous tilted his head when John started speaking his spell. He felt magic in the air. Whatever he was doing had the feeling of his cloaking magic. He could only guess at what John was really doing.
When John opened his eyes he could see Aqueous again, but this time the demon's blue wings were visible. They weren't gigantic, but they were large enough to carry him. He also had small blue horns, the tips barely poked out from his hair, which had gone from brown to blue.
"You did something special." Aqueous's eyebrows crinkled. His wings shuffled, opening slightly before closing again. His tail slid closer to him more so out of fear than balance. He was uncertain what John had done and he didn't like it.
