Ruby could feel the back of her mind start to tingle with the urge to push through the boy's mind, but there were definitely a few people watching right now and she still felt hesitant to give herself over to that kind of urge - that kind of urge felt dangerous.
"Can you just go? Please?" Ruby looked at him and her tone seemed to suggest the request had a silent 'before I do something I'll regret'.
The boy looked between the two of him as if trying to decide what to do. Was it worth it? He looked at Ruby and rolled his eyes like he was declaring her unfit for his time. "Whatever, loser. She's not worth this crap anyways." And then the boy attempted to leave, though he definitely made a play to shoulder-check Percy on his way passed.
