Bruce, on the other hand, wasn't a stranger to dropping in on Percy, especially after all he'd been through recently, what with the vampires, that incident that landed him in the hospital, Bruce couldn't help but fret a little, even though Percy was a demigod, he still liked checking in on him. He knew it was always a bit of a matter of doing it in moderation, because even though Percy thought the world of him and everything, it was still embarrassing having a... parental figure? Guardian? Mentor? Technically Percy was his intern, but he'd be lying if he didn't think there was more to it than that.
So he was headed up there to check in on him, however the sound of raised voices had him quickening his paces. But just as Bruce turned the corner he stopped short, seeing the source of the noise. Two boys had been arguing loudly, shoving each other-- elbowing a girl in the ribs. Something pinged in the back of his mind when he saw her, but it was momentarily forgotten.
Bruce went to open his mouth, to break up the fight, but he felt the other guy's presence in him, waking up. Wait, Banner. The Hulk was keeping his feet grounded and momentarily confused, Bruce was about to attempt to fight free before he watched on.
Just in time to see her eyes turn orange, and the further exchange of events unfold. He felt himself relax, his eyes widening slightly at the sight, and it was in that moment the ping in the back of his mind registered.
Bruce stepped aside to let the kid rush past him, before he walked forward to Ruby, giving her a gentle smile. "Are you okay?" he asked her. "He got you pretty hard in the ribs there."
