To be honest, the moment she'd managed to get out of the hospital, Erica had gone exploring on her own. She'd asked for an escort just to ask, but patience was never a virtue that the blonde exhibited. She wanted results whenever she wanted them. And that meant that, after finding a place to keep her locked down and out of the public during the full moon the previous night, she'd gone out during the day and investigated the place herself.
That was what brought her to the beach.
Erica loved the beach. She'd never been able to really appreciate the beach because of her Epilepsy. Now, since the bite, she was far more free to do what she'd wanted to. And since she was living in a town that was damn close to the beach, she'd been spending as much time as she could there.
They'd given her clothes to replace the ones that were covered in blood thankfully, and she had an appointment on Monday for a job interview and a meeting about her GED (because she wasn't about to completely redo her senior year. Screw that). So until then, she was biding her time and spending it enjoying herself. There would be plenty of time for the responsibility thing once she locked down the job and managed to save enough to find her a place to stay other than the dormitories. She was contemplating applying for the college in town as well in an effort to keep herself busy and, well, educated.
Of course, there were also other ways to keep a person busy. Erica was no slouch in the looks department since she'd been bitten and she knew it. She used it, often. And now, she was looking at a pretty delectable sight sitting on the sand looking at the water.
Making her way to him, she canted her head to the side, blonde curls falling over her shoulder as she looked him over with a smile. "Actually, you might be able to. I'm new here. I was hoping there would be someone around who could give me a rundown on what happens around here. And here you are. I'm Erica."
