Glancing at Tony, Bruce considered how he should answer that. He was glad to have his cigarette to fidget with, taking another drag off to give himself some space to think about the situation. "I did. Would it matter if a future you did?" Honestly curious what Tony would say, Bruce didn't know if it did. The Tony he was friends with who had done that for him, he wasn't here. And Bruce was only making things worse with the guy who was here by letting himself forget that.
"True. I'm not always as pragmatic about it. But, having readily inferior products make it more obvious. It's selfish to look at it that way, though. I'm lucky to have access to lab space at all here really. I guess there isn't really anything I need it for at the moment."
