"I'm a smart guy," Tony said, and although there should have been, there was no real boast to his words -- he was just saying it for the sake of filling space and silence with words.
"Not really just like home," Tony said, eyeing Bruce down on the stoop thoughtfully. Apparently the guy had seem plenty of his work space in the past. Future. Whatever. "But close. Different set up. I'm still working out the kinks."
He thinned his lips thoughtfully and then stuck his hands into the pockets of his jeans. "Sounds like you had it nice before. Don't suppose I built the space you used to work in?" Because, really, no one did interfaces better than Stark. And he was damned well aware of it.
"I don't miss anything yet. But then, I haven't had time to work much to figure out what differences I'll like or not like. We'll see. It's not quite as big, I guess. But that can always be fixed."
