Roxy/Open to Multiples
As Roxy walked through the festival, she wondered if this was set in motion to coincide with the rally the following day. Really, she supposed it didn't matter as she was happy to have something fun to go to and get her mind off the what tomorrow could bring. She was sure she wasn't the only one who felt that way.
She was always on alert, even though she wasn't on duty. She wondered if everyone else who was on the force felt the same way and if they were always aware of every little thing. The teenagers huddled in a group...just waiting for their friend to come through. The little girl who didn't seem to know where her parents were...oh, they had turned their backs for a moment. Roxy nodded in approval and tried to let herself relax.
She headed over to one of the food vendors, paying for a bag of cotton candy and turning to decide what to do. Take a shot at the corn maze? Nah, too easy. She opted to just walk up and down the lines of colored tents and wares, looking to see what the local citizens were selling.
