She stopped when he grabbed her hand, though she stopped with a tug and then she turned. With her back to Percy, she had been crying more uncontrolled. Her cheeks were starting to redden from it and half the time she inhaled, there was a faint involuntary sniffle.
"I don't want to hurt your Percy, but I didn't want to lie to you either. I... I want to try to find a way to give her back to you. I'll find a way, okay? I just... I just don't know how right now." She pressed her lips in another tight frown as she willed herself not to sob. She glanced to the side. "I... I don't deserve -"
