"Jason could ha-" Percy started without thinking and stopped right away. What Jason could have was irrelevant. Jason wasn't here, he wasn't safe, and he wasn't even around anymore. This realization bothered him more in this surrounding for some reason, and Percy couldn't help the way his eyebrows knitted together in frustration. There was a long pause before he said anything, some memories of Jason bubbling to the surface, but there was that blurry edge where something seemed missing. "I think the ferris wheel might not be the best thing to try given the way everything seems like it's growing up it. But maybe we can figure out the carousel."
What a shame nothing here was water, or steam, powered. That could have been fun to manipulate. Especially if it was like one of those guns that shot water at a target. Percy may have rigged a few of those races in his favor over the last few years.
