Ruby's experience with the woods was eventful, but much different than Percy's, not that she was aware. While she walked, she was more concerned about not tripping and looking stupid than what might jump out at them.
"It's not really big, but I thought it was cool. Sort of like... a snapshot of history?" As they walked, there was a point Ruby gestured and veered off the regular path. It was still easy to walk through, it just didn't seem to be in a direction often traveled.
Soon, they came upon the sign that Ruby had texted Percy. She turned to look at him, smiling. Something had eased in her again and whatever had been bothering her at the train station seemed to have disappeared, or at least pushed away for now. "Come on, we're close now."
Ruby picked up the pace a little, jogging almost playfully as if tell Percy to 'keep up'. There was a small hill and when the got to the top, there was what would have been a clearing, but had since been over-grown by the forest. There was a small ticket kiosk that still seemed to be standing. Off to one side was the faint ruins of some sort of stone building - all that was left where the outer walls that would reach hip-level. Outside of it had a worn away wooden stand made for people to stick their heads in for photos. Most of the bright colours had long faded, but the outline of a knight on one knee and some sort of royal woman in a dress were visible, though the top part of the circle for the woman was missing. To the other side was an intact ferris wheel that might be accessible from the middle of it. In the center of the clearing was an intact carousel that Ruby wondered if it could still work - it looked last time like it might. There were a few other ruined buildings and stands, but the only other place that looked like it might be work exploring was a building that said the words 'Ma e f the Wiz rd'. On the bottom were the letters Z, O, and A.
