Who: Izuku Midoriya and Hitoshi Shinso Where: Abascus Institute, Gym When: Backdated slightly to this past weekend, early Saturday What: Midoriya agreed to training with Shinso Ratings/Warnings: Ummm probably PG. Nothing too serious. Mind control will be a thing, though. They both are aware during this training and agreed to it!
While he didn't like the idea of mind control, Midoriya could see some benefits to the Quirk. It was a Quirk, first and foremost. To someone like himself who had no quirk, well, that was a miracle in and of itself. It was something that he really wanted to learn more about. Facing Shinso at the Festival had been challenging. Midoriya had gone into battle with him knowing about his power and, yet, he still found himself in the losing position until his own borrowed power kicked in.
As surprised as he was to see Shinso here of all places, Midoriya understood. He had, after all, come here for a reason. He had come here because he wanted to get stronger. And that's what Shinso wanted to do, in his own right. He wanted to use his Quirk to help those in the battle field, to help heal those who needed healing. It was admirable. A brilliant way to use the Quirk he was given. Midoriya learned from a young age, after all, that they couldn't ask for the Quirk that they were given. It was just something that came to them. It was what they did with that Quirk that mattered.
Stretching in the gym, Midoriya wore simple blue track pants and an All Might t-shirt (did he own anything else?). He waited for Shinso to arrive. Midoriya had debated telling anyone else that he was going to this training, but he didn't know if he trusted anyone else to not try to stop him. Iida certainly would. Todoroki might. Out of everyone, maybe Bakugo wouldn't care much what he did on his own time. But, he couldn't imagine his friend trying to stop him from coming at all, or rushing to his rescue if something stupid happened when he could easily get himself out of the trouble. So, Midoriya went alone, without telling anyone. He was bending down with his left knee, stretching out his right leg as he waited for Shinso to arrive.
