There was something about the man that Amalthea couldn't pretend to comprehend, though, in the beginning she had suffered through her own share of feeling different. It had been a battle even among the immortals for her to find her place, but balancing on the fence between woman and unicorn felt like where she was meant to be, at least now. She would always have some part of her mortal, have those emotions tied to her heart, and maybe it made it easier for her to understand both worlds, and bring them together like this.
"She will," she offered, quietly, giving a nod to the mare so that the unicorn would take those few steps closer as she chose. Amalthea did reach out first, taking hold of Quinlan's hand without much thought, to guide him to touch just beneath the mare's chin and jaw. "This feels nice." She hardly expected the unicorn to speak, but she could offer some sound advice, even smiling a bit when the unicorn took another step to move into the contact.
"They may be different, but I believe everyone enjoys a soft touch from time to time." Her hands moved down, smoothing her dress slightly before extending a hand to the young foal. It would be a bit more wary and unsure, but in time, she was sure she could beckon it closer as well. "Do you feel you've learned much today about Preya?"
