Training was something normal that he could do. Ever since making the choice to come here, Iida had been battling with the choice. He kept it to himself, really. Not even Yuga knew and they were roommates at the campus. He found a place for himself here, yes, but there was a bigger part of himself that felt like this whole situation was awkward. Out of place. Almost as if it had been a mistake to come here.
But he couldn't change that, now. So, he was making the most of being here. A part of Iida missed home. Missed his brother, which was the reason he had chosen to come here. He frequently battled with the emotions around that choice, going back and forth and debating what his brother would think of him now. A coward? Perhaps.
Running along side his classmate, Iida had to remember not to run as fast as he normally would or else he would lose the young man beside him, no matter how fast Todoroki was. Once they came to a stop, Iida himself was breathing hard a little, having slacking on running lately. "It is always best to be prepared and to have substance after a long run," Iida started, his lecture tone on full force. He paused, though, remembering who he was speaking with. Todoroki was far more prepared than most of his classmates. He took a breath himself, then shook his head slowly.
He pushed up his glasses, looking back at his friend. "That sounds like a brilliant plan. If I may say so, you kept up with me remarkably well. Not many can," admitted Iida, stating facts. His cheeks did tinge a little as he spoke, but it was the truth.
