It had been a huge relief when All Might showed up. His All Might. Granted, Midoriya had been the first one excited about the younger version showing up here, as well. It was his chance to get to know the man who he had loved for so long, rather than just watching him on television or in reports. It was an incredible thing. But, there were so many things he couldn't do or couldn't say, because All Might didn't know who he was or what he was to him. His heir. His protege. He had this immense power gifted to him by All Might and, apart from the very man who had given it to him, only one other person here knew what that power was.
He'd kept it still from Uraraka, which wasn't as awkward as it may have seemed at first. Living together, dating her now...Izuku had thought at first that maybe this would be hard to hide. But Bakugo had been right. It was just like every other situation he'd ever been in when it came to hiding his abilities. He knew how to keep a secret, if nothing else.
And so did All Might, apparently. When Midoriya first heard he was going to a cat cafe, he had stared at the screen, blinking, but happily accepted the invitation. He would never say no, not to All Might. Walking into the cat cafe, it didn't take him long to find the man in question bent down, petting and talking to a cat. "All Might?" Midoriya questioned, looking at him with a smile. "Wow, I didn't know you liked cats this much!" he blurted a second later, shuffling a few things around. He brought his notebook out from his backpack, one that looked very familiar. "Is it all cats? Or just this one? I mean, are there particular kinds that you like more? I wonder if you like black cats, or calico, or tabby cats..." Midoriya was off again, muttering in a quick, rapid pace beneath his breath as he frantically scribbled in his notebook.
