"Oh, this one here... This one is brilliant. It's me and Lily Lu -- that's Harry and Ginny's third child -- anyway, we went to this Muggle carnival and they drew our faces all interesting-like. That day we rode all the crazy rides and ate popcorn and cotton candy until we nearly threw up. Oh! Wait, I've gotta show you this one..."
Teddy had been possibly talking for a good thirty minutes straight as he flipped through photographs he'd brought with him to show his parents. He wasn't sure if they were stunned into silence as he went on and on and on about his pictures or if they just couldn't even get a word in edgewise to comment, but they hadn't spoken in some time. He hoped he hadn't made a terrible impression on them. He was just nervous and when he got nervous, he just started rapid fire word-vomiting all over. "Here it is!"
He pressed his lips together as he eyed the photo before turning it around to show them. It was a moving picture of him with Professor Longbottom receiving some sort of medal. "That's the day I became Head Boy," he explained with a wide grin on his face. "Gran was so proud. She couldn't believe it. I mean... I still can't believe it either, and it's been some time since that. Oh..." He blushed a little as he spotted the next picture, his hair turning a slight shade lighter before he got it back under control again. "This is uhm..." He cleared his throat and chuckled a little nervously before showing them the next picture.
"This is me and Victoire Weasley. We're uhm... you know--" He made a vague hand gesture that really could have meant anything before chuckling again. "Sorry. She's just.... well, brilliant." He chewed on his lip and realized that maybe this was all just too much for them. It was too much for him too, but he had a tendency to just ignore all that until it was all over and he could overthink it like crazy in the middle of the night. "But yeah, I mean... have you got any questions for me? I'm really glad you wanted to come out with me. Thanks for that."
