Who: Midoriya, All Might and Bakugo Where: Outside by the gym at the Abascus Institute When: Evening, shortly after All Might's canon update What: The boys need to talk Warnings: I think every thread Bakugo is in automatically comes with a language warning? Midoriya tears are most likely.
When he had first seen the notice on the network, Midoriya had to read it twice. Then again. It was really him. All Might. Granted, Toshinori was always All Might, just not the same All Might who was his mentor and hero. Midoriya had probably spent a good five minutes sobbing after he read the message from All Might. It took him another two to calm down. Another minute to throw on whatever clothes he had near him (ironically, it happened to be a pair of jeans and an All Might hoodie). "I'm heading out to meet up with Kachan," he hollered to Ochaco, not really sure where she was in the apartment, but he was in a hurry and this was All Might who was here.
Part of him felt bad for lying. While they may be dating now, Ochaco didn't know anything more about his Quirk than she ever had. He kept it that way. If he did want to train with it, he usually did so later at night, secretly. Sometimes that meant sneaking away to the gym to train. She knew what his Quirk was and what it did, but she didn't know where it came from or who had given it to him, after all. No one else could afford to learn his secret. Kachan was the only one, for which Midoriya was grateful. His friend had kept his secret, dutifully so, so if anyone deserved to be there when he finally reunited with his version of All Might, well, Kachan was the one to be there. He'd sent a quick text message to Kachan, saying that All Might wanted to meet with both of them, then took off running towards the gym.
He skidded to a stop when he saw the familiar yellow hair, tears already running down his cheeks as he forced himself to stand still. It really was him. "All Might!" Midoriya blurted, then wasted no time. He moved forward, hugging his hero tightly and letting the tears flow freely. He thought he would never get to see this man again, in any form that he possessed, and was eternally grateful that this man decided to show up here.
