As she looked up at Derek, she took in his frame. She'd almost gotten how tall he was. How he seemed to be the only one who had eyes that matched her, and who could forget that brooding expression of his. What was it that Stiles called him? Sour Wolf, the nickname alone in her head caused her to smile. He was familiar and almost in a sense comforting. Despite not wanting to see people from back home, she was glad to see certain people at least.
As she came to step to the side, she shut the door once he was in. "Yeah, I was making it for us. A friend, Levi gave me some. Helps me be relaxed for when I can't sleep." She stated as she came to brush her red hair from her face. Her smaller frame moving past Derek. "Make yourself comfortable." She stated as she heard the steam whistle from the snout of the kettle. The apartment wasn't huge, but it was clean. And she did have some picture frames with pictures of everyone from back in Beacon Hills.
It wasn't long before she came with a tray and those two cups of tea, with sugar and honey as well. "Not sure how you like it." She replied with a shrug as she placed the tray on the coffee table and came to take a seat on the couch not far from where Derek was. It was also obvious on Lydia's face that she hadn't been sleeping that much, with the slight bags under her eyes. But luckily she had the makeup to keep it hidden. But tonight she was home, so she didn't care if they showed.
