"I suppose it makes sense that some might call the sport by a different name, but I don't see where the name 'soccer' makes sense," she mused absently, then smiled at his eagerness regarding the horses. "He mentioned that he would. We'll take a tour of Everdale together. And - we can invite another friend of mine, Arthur. He's the Councilman for that province and I'm sure he'd know best the places to go." Plus, it would mean that not only would she be able to spend time with him, but Arthur could meet her brother as well.
"Neither did I," she admitted. "But you're right about its beauty...I honestly think I've begun to fall in love with this place - which is good, I suppose, considering it'll be my home now." And now it was Peter's, as well. She had never dared to hope to see any of her family again, since they had died, but the unique qualities of this place changed that situation very much - and it made her wonder if perhaps Ed and Lucy might show up, as well.
