"I hardly think it's impressive, but more out of my comfort zone." Aaron explained. "I am more into the idea of science, but I am learning that the science I knew and have, is peanuts in comparison. Takes time to adjust." He paused and chuckled lightly. "On top of that, angels, demons, and gods oh my."
Of course he was correct. He's not stupid, and this woman seemed anything but an idiot with all the time in the world. In some ways they were cut of that same cloth. Though where she enjoyed cat and mouse, Aaron did also. There was nothing like quips back and forth, and the verbal tango. He loved it. Encryption was something Vanguard didn't trust. ISAC was one of the most secure things he knew, with it being as high powered AI as it was, but that was still only trusted so far.
"Being a fugitive is something I'm fine with." Aaron admitted. It was much better than dealing with a defunct government, and a shitty bosses that didn't understand what combat, and dealing with an epidemic really was like. That being said, the Ruler having the virus was even less than a happy thing for him. Aaron didn't like anyone having what was his, especially a biological weapon as such. "Well, I'd rather that no government faction had this virus." For the simplest of reasons.
"Yes. Almost impossible to fight." Aaron repeated. "Not everyone was infected by it, and some people fought it off. IT is just a virus." Then his eyes locked with hers. "The Dollar Flu did not have a vaccine." His did. Though he also had a very interesting cookbook, and you could say he was not making lasagna.
"Now the truest of time. I didn't come here to tell you my life story. In fact, I gave you this information as a sign of good will." Aaron took a drink of his coffee. "As stated, I'm not a good man, so I'm not suited for the 'rescue a cat from a tree' type of work." He was a villain, not a hero. "But I believe even the good have use for those skills."
