"Does that happen a lot?" It was too late to do anything about the teens, but Jan felt bad that she hadn't moved him out of the way quickly enough. "I guess that's the upside and downside; more comfortable for it to be out, but people don't pay attention!"
When they arrived at the light rail station, Jan paid for the both of them and they moved to stand on the dock, waiting for the next one to pull in. "I don't know about you, but I'm SO HUNGRY! I think I could eat two whole pizzas!" A lot of people just over exaggerated when they were hungry, but with Jan, it was actually a possibility that she could finish that amount of food. "What're your favorite toppings? Maybe we can share two!"
The train was just pulling in when her phone went off. She glanced down at the screen, a smile growing on her face. "It sounds like my friend Evaan is in!" She looked up at Aqueous and smiled. "Would you be interested in stopping by her gallery after pizza?"
