"Saving the world?" Aqueous sounded impressed, "That's some high level stuff!" He couldn't think of saving the world. He was just the blind son of Xys and Siphno. Aqueous frowned, he told himself he could be more than just his parent's child. That's why he came to Preya.
Jan's hand on his arm caught his attention. He hadn't been expecting it, but he didn't resist it. It reminded him of his best friend Oliver. The demon would do things like that too, only with magic instead. Aqueous's arm was cool to the touch, like he'd been standing under an AC vent for hours.
"A hands on art exhibit..." Aqueous pondered her idea. He liked the idea a lot. It would be nice to go to a place where the textures are what mattered, not the color or look or what ever. Just the textures and shapes and sounds. He refocused as she spoke about her life. He could see her designing clothes, she seemed too confident in her voice not to be designing.
"You keep yourself busy with all your hobbies and job? That's good to hear. And yeah, I'm taking some classes so I can learn about Preya. But back in my world I went to school. We had schooling that resembled human schooling as well. I even we-" Aqueous got cut off as she moved him side. He let out a less human and more of an animal sounded yelp and his tail snapped back from the path to around his ankles. "Watch where the fuck you step!" He yelled after the teens with a hurt face. his tail rose up and he ran his hand along it, feeling the area where it got stepped on. "I'll be fine..." He muttered and his tail fell back against the ground.
