"Ha! No I'm a demon." Aqueous replied casually. He paused when they got to the stairs. "Sorry but I need my tail for this." His tail reappeared and it slid in front of him. He followed it carefully down the stairs. His tail tip would rest at the end so when he hit it he knew that was the end of the step. At the bottom he waited for Jan, "But I'm not the damn you to hell, steal your soul kind of demon. That's all stuff people made up. I don't need a human soul, in fact I have my own." Aqueous assured.
"Oh a different note..." He changed the subject. Most humans panicked when they met a demon and he hoped she wouldn't. He'd met one demon already so there could be more here in Preya. "In talking about decorations, if its soft or smooth I'll take it." His bed was a messy nest of fleece blankets and soft plush stuffed animals. He really enjoyed textures.
He waited until she started to walk and then walked behind her. His tail remained, sliding along the floor. It would sway from side to side as he walked. "People ask a lot of questions... How I walk is one they ask, also how long have I been blind, how did I get blind, what can I see, and you get the picture. I can move freely with a lot of practice and memorization. You'll see when we get into Ravenmoore I'll be a lot more cautious. It also helps that I can follow you. But the biggest reason is that I can sort of see using water vapor in the air. I'm adept in ice and water magic. However... It doesn't help for shit when we're outside." He mentioned as they headed out the door. "The wind moves the air too much so everything is fuzzier than it normally is. Though I guess a lot of my walking is blind faith, hearing, and luck."
