Aqueous was glad he'd guessed right. There had been times he'd guessed wrong and it was embarrassing. "Yeah I'm down for what ever you have to show, just let me lock up." Aqueous stepped out, his tail sweeping the floor behind him. It wasn't extremely long, but still a decent medium length tail. Jan's pep amused him. He was kind of happy to be with the same excited energy that his friend and old housemate Dyse had. He missed his friends a lot.
Aqueous's keys were painted with different colored stripes. He ran his thumb along the key until he selected a key with two yellow stripes and then locked his door. "Is the tail weird? I can make it disappear..." As he spoke his tail vanished as if it wasn't there. "I usually leave it and just walk around normally, but I don't want to freak you out! Besides it'll probably be safer if I don't let my tail get caught in the doors accidentally." He joked in hopes it would make Jan laugh. He was actually pretty good at keeping Jan in his sight.
"Decorating my house? Eh, not really that necessary. I mean it's not like I could sit there and look at the decore. Though I need to get a TV." Aqueous joked again. By the tone of his voice it was easy to tell he was very casual and easy going about his blindness. It wasn't something that bothered him. "Oh and cause you'll probably want to, I'm fine if you want to ask me questions about my eyes. Most people do. Shall we?" Aqueous motioned to the hallway before them.
