Aqueous listened to the automated say "Message posted." Then he stretched back on his couch and yawned. He was sitting at home in his second floor apartment, #204. "I should probably go get my wallet..." He mumbled to himself as he sat up. His tail slid off the couch and hit the floor with a heavy thud. The blue scaly tail slid to the side until it hit the foot of the couch.
Aqueous stood up and sighed deeply. The temperature of the room dropped as his magic worked it's mojo. He saw a fuzzy map of his living room using the water vapor in the air. The heater's vents pushed around his vision as he walked by. Aqueous let it fade away as he grabbed his wallet and his keys. His tail pressed into counter while he slid his keys and wallet into his pocket. He perked up at hearing his neighbor turn a sporting event on from his television. Aqueous wondered what sports looked like, he'd never really gotten into them. They were awfully loud and made people awfully loud in response. They must be pretty exciting.
The doorbell made him jump and his turned his head towards the sound of the noise. "That must be Jan.." He mumbled and then called out, "I'm coming!" He walked towards his front door, relying on memory. Aqueous opened the door, "Hey you must be Jan? Unless its my neighbor, which in that case hello as well." He greeted with a sense of humor. The visitor didn't smell like his neighbor, they were sweeter yet also slightly sterile... So they were either Jan or a stranger. Aqueous was a little taller than her, dressed in a casual yet rather nice grey cardigan and jeans. The most striking thing about him wasma toss up between his milky white blue eyes or the ocean blue that rested behind him on the ground. It was lizard like, though it was hard to tell if it was leathery or scaly.
The apartment behind him was rather barren. Aside from the structure of the house and some essential furniture, there wasn't much decor. Hell there wasn't even a TV, but there was a rather big and expensive looking PC set up peaking out of a room in the hall way. The walls where an off white color, and it looked like he'd only been there for a few days or maybe a week. Over all it looked like a nice little apartment.
