"He would have been deeply offended if he hadn't, little narcissistic egomaniac couldn't tolerate being second in anyone's mind." He said, his brows furrowing slightly. He'd only ever fed into Lucifer's opinions of himself, had enabled him to think himself great, that was probably why his brother had felt so betrayed when he managed to remind himself of his love for and loyalty to their Father and not join him in his rebellion. The look of hurt and heartbreak on Lucifer's face when he'd forced him into the Cage was going to stay with him forever.
Michael had to pull his thoughts away from Lucifer, that road went nowhere good.
"Raphael was always very clinical." Michael agreed with a nod. His frequently forgotten middle brother had dealt with everything that happened by building walls around himself but every so often Michael got a peek inside. At the time his heart broke for him but they had been so focused on trying to get their Father back that he hadn't taken the time to offer him real help. Not that he could have done much. "I imagine it helped him heal without ending up emotionally compromised. It seems he taught the rit zien to behave in the same way, he was very proud of them."
His hallucinatory brothers picked up their chatter again and Michael found himself staring in their direction again.
"And I'll assume you met Gabriel here." He blinked a few times before looking back to Crowley. "I would rather not know what unholy acts the pair of you are doing to each other, but given his tastes, I'm certain he has been very friendly with you. I would be careful were I in your position, who knows what he's likely to pick up from his false gods and pass along to you."
