There was a long moment of Aaron staring at the other man. His agenda. Here it was going to be different. Here he didn't have what he did previously. So he had to really figure it out. Then he came out with it. Again, nothing to lose really.
"Back home I had been in the first wave of agents to lock down, and bring order to New York after the virus outbreak. Things went tits up, and the brass had ordered us out, and made us leave allies, and very important tide turning equipment behind." Aaron's finger pressed on the cup so it tipped slightly. "After the general disregard of our lives, and lack of fucks given, I decided I would operate in my own standing. I recruited other first wave agents, and kill the ones who would not recruit to meet my goals. At that time in New York there were I'd say four major factions fighting for turf and control of the city, and then obviously the government." Sighing, he continued. I played them all, and in one great swoop eliminated the second wave with a surface to air missile that I acquired from a general."
Vanguard released the cup and it fell back on it's base. "Through my efforts I moved in the shadows to continue my effort to over throw my government, and appease my own agenda of destroying what wasn't working so it could be rebuilt. To that end, I had acquired a scientist that created the initial virus, Green Flu, and had him synthesize a new virus for me." Aaron's cold brown eyes locked with the other man's. "A virus I was going to leverage my position, and safe keeping. Then I came here." He let that hang in the air for a moment, to let it sink in he's suppose to have a virus.
"And said virus is missing." Casually he drank from the mug finishing his coffee. "That was my agenda."
