Fracxis' mischievous look faded when Vanguard mentioned the virus. He remembered the war before recorded time when humans fought demons. He'd watched his adopted father wither at the sight of his creations mauling each other. He knew in his heart Fate would cry at seeing his humans fighting with weapons of mass destruction once more. He was glad that wasn't the state of his world when he left it.
However Aaron's next comments made him laugh, "You and me are more similar than you'd think. Child meets family, child serves family, child is betrayed by family, child is now a threat to humanity." He summarized his own life to match. Fracxis twisted his mug on the table, ignoring the soft grating sounds it made. "I highly doubt you are as boring as you claim. I also can already tell you will become a rebel if you are not already. I don't need the Books of Fate to see that. I like you." Fracxis decided on a verdict and picked up his mocha. He finished the liquid inside and set it down. There were vary few humans Fracxis liked. He liked more after coming here, but deep down he still resented humanity for Fate's death.
