Theo liked Kingsby's, don't get him wrong. They got all sorts in there, there were some shady types, some types that weren't that bad on the eyes. There were misfits, people who didn't conform, creatures of darkness that were intriguing to him. He'd met all sorts in his travels abroad, or at least he thought he had, some of the beings he saw here surprised even him. But sometimes it got too much for him, the loud raucous laughter, the smashing of glasses, the public displays of vulgarity.
So he left into the oncoming gale that was already picking up outside. The weather had promised a windy night and it hadn't disappointed. He would have preferred snow, the thought of having it fall around him was strangely soothing. But it was a blustery wind that greeted him instead. He was rugged up in a thin but warm dark woolen long overcoat, one of his old Slytherin scarves and some red gloves that were warmer than the colourful gloves he'd purchased at Ravenmoore. He'd bring those out most likely when it came time for the snow.
Buttoning his coat up further, with a sharp movement he summoned a cigarette from the depths of his coat using some simple wandless magic and lit it with yet another sharp movement, it was in his mouth but a second later, dangling from the edge of his lips. He took a drag, eyes closed and letting out a sigh. One of the best things about being a wizard was that you didn't need to worry about lung cancer or any other smoking related afflictions.
He opened his eyes and looked around slightly, evaluating his next course of action. Right. Where to next. He liked Everdale, even though Ravenmoore contained a lot of curiosities. Maybe Blackwood Manor to explore a bit more before heading home. The supposedly haunted abandoned building was a curiosity in of itself, but there were a lot of mysteries about Everdale that he was constantly discovering.
With his course of action set in mind, he started to move, before he abruptly bumped into someone that was coming at him from his blind spot. The cigarette fell from his mouth to the ground, extinguishing in the puddle nearby.
"What the fuck!" Theo swore loudly, hardly caring if the person who'd bumped into him was seven or seventy years old, that was rude. "How about you watch where you're going?" He was already making his way to his feet though and as he turned to brush the lapels off his jacket, he let out a scoff which turned into a harsh laugh.
"Oh, I should have fucking known. Malfoy." Theo put his hands in the pockets of his overcoats, fists clenched. "In a hurry, are we?"
