Elena nodded. It was hard for her to imagine not loving to read. Reading was such a huge part of life--along with writing, of course--that she honestly couldn't imagine life without it. "I'd like that." She responded with a smile before she really understood what she was agreeing to. "I mean, I live in Ravenmoore? So I'm only up here sometimes for work... but we can make it work."
Elena took a sip from her drink, trying not to think about the phrase never drink what you can't handle. It made her think of blood, and made her feel hungry. Things she didn't want to have to deal with right now. It was fun to pretend to be just a normal girl at a cafe with a normal boy. "Oh, you have a brother?" She asked, playfully. "Is he a lot like you?"
Having never been to Kansas, Elena simply nodded. She missed Mystic Falls quite a bit, but wasn't seriously considering going home. This was her new home.
