Jan had seen Natasha's network post about this new hero school but hadn't responded. She felt kind of in the middle; not quite a student, but not experienced enough to be a teacher. But the more people talked about it, the more she started to think about it. Why couldn't she teach her own class? She may not have graduated from the Academy, but she certainly had her experience of saving the world a handful of times. She could put that knowledge to good use! She could help the future generation become kick-ass superheroes! Yeah, she could totally do it...Then Kate's suggestion really had her interested and she found herself heading towards the school, not even sure what she would teach!
She pondered the question, deciding to walk instead of fly so she could have more time in thought. What could she teach? There was always nanotechnology, but that felt like she was restricting herself. Fashion wasn't really something superheroes needed, although she could go into the scientific abilities of creating a costume that would be able to meet the demands of each individual power. But she had a feeling that most students attending the school weren't looking to attend to be a behind-the-scenes kind of person.
She was still mulling over it over when she arrived at Shugosha Academy. She had to admit, it looked pretty impressive. She prayed that Natasha would be there today so she could talk about some of the ideas she had in her head, see which one Natasha thought would suit her best.
As she pulled the door open, she wondered how it would be to see Nat. They hadn't been super close at the Academy, but that seemed to be her personality. Really, Jan thought they had been fairly good friends, given she didn't like to really hang out with people. Well, except for Clint.
She admired the hallways and pictured a variety of students walking through. What would it be like to have one of these classrooms, write her name all fancy like on a chalkboard? That was a bit romantic of her to think; what schools still had chalkboards in them??
She was soon standing in front of Nat's door, her name sketched on the glass. Fancy, she thought with a smile as she raised her hand and knocked on the door, opening the door as she did so.
"Nat? Are you in?"
