"Are there any other angels you could stay with?" They had talked about how close the angels seemed to be around here, despite not coming from the same kind of universe. There was something comforting in that fact; that these supernatural beings could still know each other and feel like family.
Throughout her time with him, Jan could tell how much family meant to Necrosis. It was sweet, but there was something that felt a bit sad behind the way he talked about them. She knew that wasn't really something you talked about for first meetings, but she felt touched that he would share something so personal and close. She decided it would be best to pick up and continue the cue he set with the measurements.
"It would be your standard sizing. Chest, waist, hips, inseam, arm length. I might do torso for you." She tilted her head, thinking about it. "Just to be on the sure side." She stood to rummage through a drawer, looking for her measuring tape. It was a special pink one she loved and had added sparkle stickers on.
"Your family sounds very nice," she said, her back still turned to him. "I hope I may be able to meet them someday." She wasn't sure if that was the appropriate thing to say as it seemed everyone had different feelings about this place and being here. She turned back around, holding the tape up.
